Arrival to Malaga

Welcome to Malaga, Spain! Málaga, the lively city at the centre of Spain's Costa del Sol, is a hot spot for culture, food, sunshine, and seaside living. It is also a birthplace of Pablo Picasso and Antonio Banderas.
You will not miss in case of arriving a day or two earlier to Malaga as there is plenty to see in this beautiful city, take some rest in some of the beaches or enjoy numerous tapas bars. Enjoy your arrival to beautiful Andalusia!

Malaga - Rabat

An exciting day to cross to another continent! Starting in the morning, we will be riding along the shores of Mediterranean and Costa Del Sol to Gibraltar and a small town of Tarifa where we will be taking a ferry across to the African continent and the port of Tangiers. It is a rather short ferry ride after which we will continue our ride along the shores of Atlantic ocean to the capital of Morocco – the exciting city of Rabat! Rabat is one of the royal cities of Morocco with a lively ancient medina we will be exploring upon our arrival to get the first taste of this beautiful and remarkable county.

Rabat - Marrakech

On our way to Marrakech we will be riding the green area with couple of mountain rides, green fields and excellent curvy roads, passing small villages and seeing more and more of Moroccan culture and the way of life already from the bike before reaching fantastic and vibrant Marrakech, hearing the drums on the squares, cobra snake charmers and a buzz of numerous vehicles passing the narrow streets of this lively ancient city. We will spend the night in one of traditional beautiful highly rated riads and have a dinner and experience this remarkable city.

Marrakech - Ouarzazate

Leaving Marrakech after our breakfast we will be starting our exciting riding day heading further towards Atlas Mountain range, reaching famous Tizi-n-Tichka Pass in the High Atlas at the altitude of over 2000m. The scenery and the rides are fantastic, with a plenty of opportunities to take an incredible photo. On our way to Ouarzazate, that is famous for Hollywood movie studios (many famous movies were filmed there, such as Indiana Jones, Gladiator, Mummy, Lawrence of Arabia...) we will stop at Ait Benhaddou, and ancient medieval kasbah also known from some of the movies.

Ouarzazate-Todra Canyon-Erfoud

Today we will continue our exciting journey further towards Sahara desert, passing the breath taking Todra Canyon. Todra and neighbouring Dades Rivers are responsible for carving out these deep cliff-sided canyons, on their final 40 kilometres through the mountains. After a lunch stop in the area we will continue our ride seeing more and more the desert landscape, kasbahs and oasis before reaching Erfoud an oasis town where we will spend the night.

Erfoud Rest Day

A day to take a break and enjoy Sahara. You can take a day trip to Erg Chebbi dunes by jeeps and quads, enjoy there a camel ride through the desert until the beautiful Sahara sunset. Other options are of course enjoying the pool or spa (famous hammam) or just feel the Berber way of life outside.

Erfoud - Fez

Today we will be leaving Sahara and heading along the Saharan Atlas region towards one more royal city of Morocco, the incredible Fez. The route is amazing, a lot of twisties, colourful scenery changing its colours from brown desert sand to green fields and green mountains. We will be passing the Middle Atlas before heading down towards famous city of Fez.

Fez rest day

Today we will take a break in this fantastic city full of ancient history. Numerous traders, vibrant streets like labyrinths with stores of hand crafts (famous for leather processing, carpets, ceramics, metal works etc. The medina of Fez is listed as a World Heritage Site and is considered the world's largest and oldest urban pedestrian zones. A truly remarkable city.

Fez - Ceuta

Riding towards north of Morocco we will be passing Rif Mountain range, green Morocco (on our journey you will certainly understand why Morocco is often called colourful) before entering the town of Chefchaouen, so called the blue town (all the buildings are coloured in blue). The most popular theory is that after WWII, when the Jewish community in the area grew as people fled Nazi persecution, blue was painted on the walls, floors and steps as a religious practise, to represent the colour of the sky and connect the city to heaven and God. Other theories say that the walls were painted to keep mosquitos away or reduce heat in the summer. Whatever the theory true, a town is beautiful and offer many opportunities for adding a memorable photos to your Morocco album that will be so full until this day and you will love it and wishing to come back. After a break in Chefchaouen we will ride towards Spanish territory in Africa, an enclave Ceuta where we will have a dinner before returning to European continent.

Ceuta - Málaga Flight home

After a short ferry ride to Algeciras, we will ride back to Malaga and in case you are flying back in the late afternoon or evening flight back home. Or you can of course enjoy beautiful Malaga and Andalucia for a couple of more days planning your next motorcycle adventure! See you!
