Compact, lightweight and powerful; the CRF1000L Africa Twin’s parallel twin-cylinder engine makes 70Kw peak power @ 7,500rpm, and 98Nm torque @ 6,000rpm. It features a 270° phased crank, Unicam 4 valve-per-cylinder head and dry sump plus common crankcases for both DCT and manual 6-speed gearbox versions.

The CRF1000L Africa Twin’s engine has been engineered with a special focus on two key areas – tractable and usable all-day touring performance and a power and torque delivery that offers genuine feel for rear wheel traction. The natural by-product of these abilities is that the machine is also a great all-rounder – as happy on the urban commute as anywhere else.

Rates Include: Unlimited mileage for rentals of 10 days or more***, 3 Luggage Cases, Third party liability insurance and Comprehensive vehicle insurance, Value Added Tax, Help with Airport transfers, Security lock, 24hr Support Service. ***1 - 9 day rentals include 300 km per day, extra km 0,50 EUR/km.

Motorcycle delivery and rentals possible in Venice, Munich, Milan, Vienna, Salzburg, Barcelona, Rome, Ljubljana, Zagreb, Split, Dubrovnik. 

Weekend Rental (Sat, Sun): 2-day rental minimum (possible pick up Friday afternoon and dropp-off Monday morning).

VIP & Super VIP insurance available for purchase for rentals of 7 days or more. 

A security deposit of 2000 Euro must be paid to MTE at the beginning of the motorcycle rental period. The deposit will be held until the undamaged motorcycle is returned in acceptable condition.

MTE offers two insurance options, 'VIP insurance' and 'Super VIP Insurance'.

In case of ‘VIP Insurance’ (for a fixed fee of 25 EUR per day), security deposit (deductible) is lowered to 500 Euro and must be paid to MTE at the beginning of the motorcycle rental period. The deposit will be held until the undamaged motorcycle is returned in acceptable condition. Optionally, in case of ‘Super VIP Insurance’ (for a fixed fee of 35 EUR per day), security deposit (deductible) is lowered to zero.


One way rentals: You can pick up a motorcycle at any of our European tour starting/ending destinations at the end of the guided tour, and ride it to Zagreb, Croatia.

Opening hours: Mon. - Fri. from 9.00 to 17.00, or by appointment (out-of-hours fee 30 EUR/motorcycle).
